New member from Northern Idaho

Greetings all!

First off, I have had the pleasure of stumbling upon this forum due to my research per vaping/ecigs/ejuice, etc. It has some up several times, and I decided to check it out. Well today, I decided to become a member here to learn from Veteran vapers and noobies alike!

I am currently 18 years old, and actually started vaping BEFORE I started smoking. I researched the hell out of lots of different setups, and had a few ordered to my house. I started vaping about 2 years ago, then something bad happened… I started smoking analog cigs with some friends at parties, then it progressed to me experimenting with lots of different kinds. Before I knew it, I was buying packs too often for my liking. I stopped smoking, and actually started chewing! (GROSS). This was also due to friends, sadly. I don’t blame anyone, because I know I can control what I do. It’s just hard to stop (as you all probably know!).

I became a closet tobacco-user, chewing, smoking, vaping, whatever I could to get some nicotine in me. I feel like it calms me down, and I do have a tenancy to be pretty stressed out (although I won’t take it out on anyone here Smile)

I currently have a massive dip in as I type this, but am trying to convert back to strictly vaping. I’m a lazy bastard sometimes, and never remember to re-order my juice/tanks/cartridges/whatever else. I have a few battery’s right now and some EJuice, but the refill carts I have are rated at 30 refills… let’s just say I’m on about refill 500!

I also came on here to help with this problem. I need to find a kick-ass setup. I currently just use the V2 batteries and refill cartridges, and have ordered ejuice from many different websites. I will search around before asking too many questions, but any help would be appreciated!

I will try to contribute here with the knowledge I have gained thus far. There is a lot to learn, and I am near the beginning of my vaping journey!

Best of luck to all reading this!

How flavor effects smoking an e-cig

Have you tried an electronic cigarette before but struggled to stick to smoking it instead of your regular cigarettes? Did you find that the taste was too different for you to feel satisfied? If so, then you have probably purchased an e-cigarette without a choice of flavour. A lot of people end up doing this and thus they write-off the product altogether. However, if you have the opportunity to select a particular flavour electronic cigarette from a selection, then you will have a much greater chance of feeling satisfied. You will be able to pick a flavour that coincides with the type of cigarette you would usually smoke. This makes the move to an electronic cigarette a lot easier. In fact, you will barely even notice the difference.

First and foremost let’s begin by establishing how important it is to buy from a website that has a variation of different flavoured e-cigarettes available. This is the main mistake people make when they buy their first e-cig. They go to the first website they find assuming that they will all be the same. However, different companies and brands have their own takes on the electronic cigarette. You need to make sure you go for someone who allows you to choose between several flavours. By doing this you will be able to purchase a flavour electronic cigarette that replicates the flavour you would experience when smoking your standard cigarettes.
This is imperative. After all, if the flavour is different then it defeats the whole purpose of an electronic cigarette. The reason why this product is so successful is because the transition is easy; you don’t feel like you are giving up smoking at all. However, if the flavour is completely different to what you would usually go for, then the transition is noticeable and often it is not enjoyable – and consequently not successful.

If you are looking to step on the ladder to a healthier you then a flavour electronic cigarette is the way to do it. This is not giving up smoking. Instead, it is the healthy version. You may think smoking and healthy don’t go together. And traditionally they don’t. But thanks to innovation and modern technology they now can. The e-cig gets rid of all the tar, tobacco and other harmful chemicals that have made smoking dangerous.

Yet, the nicotine stays. Why? Because believe it or not; but nicotine isn’t actually harmful. This means you get to enjoy the same relaxing and calming experience you would when smoking a traditional cigarette. Not only this, but because you have three different distinct flavours to choose between, you are able to pick a e-cig that is as close to smoking the real thing as possible.

Spots!

Please tell me I am not the only one….

A very sensitive question but since I started vaping quite a few years ago my nose or there about tends to get hit with horrible spots. Seems that my pores are clogged all the time.

The rest of my face is fine thank you very much for which my wife testifies and after 16 years of marriage she would not notice anyway 🙂 but she is a love and my brick 😀

I have tried full PG and VG but nothing seems to stop the white yucky spots!

I have even (yep you gonna kill me for this cos I’m a bloke) bought some facial antiseptic cleanser from my local supermarket but they still appear the next day shouting "give me your best mate cos this ain’t happening"!

I feel like a teenager again which is awesome but then again not with the consequences.

Anyone else noticed an invasion of the spotty kind?

There must be some other juvenile delinquents in this forum  ?

Noob in need of advice/help.

I’m a noobie and need some advice.
I decided to try the e-cig route of quiting about 3 months ago, but cannot seem to get the vapor and taste that I got at the local b&m. My local store was great at introducing me to vaping, awesome at showing how to use and clean my new setup (2 Kangertech Evod batteries and tanks and1 Kanger Protank 2 mini) and patient when I tried every single flavor they had. My problem is when I got home and charged and filled everything my first vape was blah, little vapor and the flavor was not what it was like at the store. I did check with the store to see if my liquids needed to be steeped……nope. I have tried every day for 3 months but still the only time that the vape and flavor is good is when it sits for 30 minutes or so, first vape awesome then nothing. So to perpetuate the question….. should I look into getting a vv battery/mod? Size does not matter to me but battery life does. Also I have no desire right now to spend $100 or more for a battery holder. I have looked around and found that I like the Vamo, but then will these tanks work sufficiently?
Arggggggggg, please help. I want to quit smoking but this is just frustrating.
